About

Meet Ann

Ann Bell Worley is a Houston-based writer and editor and a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).

She has publications in religion, parenting, and children’s literature, and her editing credits range in scope from children’s books to novels to sermon collections. Ann is the mother of two children, one neurodivergent and one neurotypical, and while much of her writing focuses on the challenges of raising a medically-complex child, she will tell you that raising her “typical” child is no walk in the park, either. Before she had children and lost all but a thread of her confidence, Ann was an accomplished musician and a seminary-trained, ordained minister. Her husband, Todd, is a robotic surgeon and the only reason Ann is not a starving artist.
